It’s a celebration of food each August on the streets of Greek Town when so many come together. Sure there’s the culture, the dance, the people and the music but at some point you have to sink your teeth in and really Taste the Danforth. OPA!
Well, just like any other festival with over a million visitors there’s a great deal of logistics involved in providing services over the many blocks of crowded streets. It’s My Potty will once again be there to provide upscale washroom amenities for the event. This begs the question, if a festival this size chooses portable toilet trailers and flush toilet portables exclusively then why do so many other festivals appear to still be in the dark ages with standard porta potties?
Yes its true, the Toronto International Film Festival has It’s My Potty on the guest list at its most prestigious events. This rooftop parking garage is transformed into an event space each year with It’s My Potty and parent company, Absolute Tent & Event Services providing the special event rentals.
This is one of many TIFF events we do each year, it takes a real commitment to cram so many parties in so little time, but someone’s got to do it.

The stage was huge, the setup was enormous, the stars came from far and wide and it was an unforgettable evening at the 2011 IIFA Awards in Toronto.
It’s My Potty had the privilege of providing a fleet of luxury amenities backstage for the stars, singers and dancers during the gala evening.
Behind the scenes is a fleet of upscale washrooms and rows of tents acting as dressing rooms for the show. Each restroom had attendants on duty to ensure 1st class amenities at all times. The upscale washrooms had signs like “Principal Artist” to distinquish whom was allowed to use which facility. Backstage was like a bee hive of activity as stars, other talent and bodyguards came from every direction.

Royal Flush portable toilet rentals
This summer It’s My Potty had the rare privilege of providing amenities to an event which hosted a World Religious Leader, the Prime Minister of Canada and other dignitaries. It was an invitation only, very high profile gathering to announce the opening of a $300 million dollar cultural centre and museum. Temporary structures were put in place for a number of meetings and prayer gatherings over several days. What could be more fitting than two Baby Royals (our top of the line units) wrapped in a sheer fabric to match the rest of the surrounding decor.
Royal Flush toilet rentals
TABIA’s 40th was a huge affair this past April as Premier Dalton McGuinty, and 300 plus BIA delegates and others from across Canada came together in the very Bloor Street West neighborhood where it all began. It’s My Potty supplied a 24’ Royal Flush for such an occasion and as always it stole the show. Anyone that hasn’t experienced one in the past is invariably pleasantly surprised. A city Green P parking lot was transformed into a place to eat, toast and celebrate the inception of such a wonderful and useful organization.
We also had washroom attendants on hand insuring that the restrooms remained well stocked with such a large crowd. During the early evening the air conditioning kept things comfortable but as soon as the sun went down on that April night the heaters were needed to keep things toasty. Attendant’s duties even include changing the music regularly so guests won’t hear the same piece of music with each visit, heaven forbid. Once again everything went without a hitch which is always good.

Recently, the Queen visited Toronto and toured a local business along with Premier Dalton McGuinty, other elected officials and members of the business community and media, It’s My Potty was called in to supply the amenities. A royal walk about just isn’t the same without a Royal Flush series trailer close at hand.
Our ultra elegant 32’ Royal Flush was put into action at a recent university convocation, with 3000 students graduating they needed a high volume yet distinguished facility for that memorable day. Can you imagine using a long row of portables for such an occasion, which could leave a lasting impression, one that you may prefer to forget about?

It’s My Potty was proud to provide our 24′ Royal Flush Portable Toilet Trailer for one of Toronto’s premier weddings recently. While the bride and groom shall remain a closely guarded secret, let it be said that this was an event to be remembered! “Perfect” is a vast understatement. Every detail, from the fluted fabric lining the massive backyard tent, to the rare imported flowers not a single thing was overlooked, and our portable toilet trailer fit right in. It’s black granite basins and fine mahogany cabinets drew compliments from a very discerning crowd. The hostess demanded only the very best, and believe me, she got it!
